Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, Boston, Mass. Worked with authors to create middle school and high school mathematics materials, including student textbooks, teacher editions, workbooks, and assessment. Developed, copyedited, and proofread manuscript. Collaborated with designers to establish design guidelines, page layouts, and photo and illustration specifications. Created color cover designs for Mathematics Teacher magazine. (1988–2013)

ADJUNCT LECTURER

Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, Mass. Taught studio course in typography and principles of book design to entering freshmen. (1999–2004)
